“I Would Love to Play Circuit,” says Salman

“I would love to play Circuit,” said Salman Khan on NDTV’s ‘Walk The Talk’ yesterday. The ‘Jaaneman’ rockstar had loved ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ and is “Dying to see Lage Raho Munnabhai.” Would he have liked to play Munna’s character? “No, only Sanju could have done full justice to it,” he said.

Salman Khan is a relaxed man in many ways. I still remember I had watched him in ‘Walk The Talk’ around one and a half years back after the Vivek Oberoi press conference episode. It was clear Salman had only consented for the interview as his father script writer Salim Khan had asked him to do so. He had looked zapped, lost and incomprehensible. But yesterday, he was jovial, gave respect to all the questions, handled a few tricky questions smartly and was generous in his praise of all the people he cares for.

When asked about Shahrukh and Aamir, he stated that his respect for SRK stems from the fact that he is the only one who is earning bread in his family as his parents are no more. As for Aamir, then according to Salman, he has not seen a man with such amazing will power. Any examples? “He had put on some weight but when he decided that it’s time to control he went on a diet and exercise routine. And today he is looking the same as QSQT days. He came for dinner the other day and he had brought his diet food along with himself. That’s how particular he is about something that he believes in.” Amongst today’s brat-pack, he finds Hrithik Roshan the best as he is very good looking and works very hard.

You may find faults with many a thing Salman Khan has done in the past, but still one has to give it to him that he is a very secure actor. And that’s a huge asking for in the world of make believe where insecurity rules-the-roast all the time.
